Caught on dashcam: January police pursuit ends in frigid Milwaukee creek

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Newly-released video from January shows a Milwaukee police chase that wound up with both the fleeing vehicle and a squad car crashing into frigid Lincoln Creek. 

Police were involved in a chase with the SUV on Jan. 11, before slipping off the road and going into the creek.

Video shows one of the suspects in the car running through the icy water, trying to escape, while the other was trapped under the Kia. Police worked to get him free. 

Both suspects were taken into custody. 

There were no reports of any injuries.
