MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee area is welcoming a huge variety of activities in the coming weekend, according to Joe Krauss of B93.3 who joined us to preview the weekend's worth of fun on Friday, July 28.

Discovery World features Shark Days, with free admission for children two-years-old and under who want to face the bamboo sharks in the Caribbean Tank and Touch Tank. Activities run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Sunday, July 30. Note that they will close at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 29.

Summer at the Milwaukee Art Museum gets festive with Lakeside at MAM. The event is free to all and runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, and Sunday, July 30. Attendees can partake in yoga, meditation, dance classes, art making and local musicians' performances.

The magic continues at the Harry Potter Festival on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. The festival features characters from the Harry Potter universe, a giant LEGO display, a strolling magician and more. The event takes place at Ozaukee County Historical Society’s Pioneer Village in Saukville, with general admission priced at $15.

The Washington County Fair, which runs through Sunday, July 30, invites the public to enjoy carnival rides, games, live music and food. A variety of kid-friendly activities, including horse shows, small animal tents, and 4-H performances, are offered at the Family Expo Center.
