CBS 58 talks costumes this Halloween at Lori's Costume Shop in West Bend
WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- This Halloween, CBS 58 spent the morning at Lori's Costume shop. While this week has been busy with costumes of characters, decades and groups -- like The Addams Family and Star Wars, costume season is far from over.
"Halloween is one week of craziness. Christmas is six weeks," said Lori Wanninger the owner at Lori's Costume Shop. "It’ll go every weekend now until the end of the season."
She has already started dressing people for the first Christmas parade in the area on Nov. 4.
Lori purchased the costume shop from the previous owner nearly 20 years ago.
"With the previous owners 27 years, and my 20 years, there’s 47 years' worth of costume collection here," said Wanninger.
All of the costumes are for rent and people are encouraged to get creative.
"The average costume price is between $35 and $55. It’s a flat rate it includes any accessories I have that work with your costume," said Wanninger. "I’m OK with you mixing and matching: there’s so much here. There are so many accessories that you can just kind of put together something in your mind."
If you have an idea for next year, it's never too early to start working with Lori to create it.
