CBS 58's Feel Good Fridays: Dinosaur Discovery, family fun, movies and more
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- What does a springtime weekend have in store for Milwaukee? Joe Krauss from B93.3 joined us Friday, May 17 to preview what's ahead in the Milwaukee area this weekend.
Big Truck Day at Red Arrow Park will take place Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free event is part of National Public Works Week, where attendees can see the city’s big trucks. A sensory-friendly hour will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Dinosaur Discovery at the Milwaukee County Zoo opens Saturday, running through Oct. 5. The exhibit features full-size, scientifically accurate animatronic displays near the Small Mammals Building.
Family Fun Day at the Art Museum is scheduled for Sunday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering modern dance and music performances, hands-on art projects and activities at the ArtPack Station.
Movie Night is taking place at the Milky Way Drive-In at Franklin Field in Franklin. Friday features “Back to the Future” at 6:30 p.m. and “Wonka” at 9:15 p.m. Saturday’s lineup includes “Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie” at 5 p.m., “Barbie” at 7 p.m. and “Saw X” at 10 p.m. Sunday features a double feature of “Migration” and “Trolls: Band Together” at 5 p.m.
Pet Palooza in Downtown Greendale will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with some pet-friendly activities, including agility courses, a pet fashion show and Adoption Alley for meeting animals in need of homes.
