MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's event calendar has a lot in store, according to Joe Krauss from B93.3 FM, who joined us to take a look on Friday, June 28.
Highlights include Starry Nights at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center in Brookfield, running Fridays from June 28 to Aug. 9, 6:30 - 8 p.m. is a free outdoor concert series for all ages, featuring a Kids’ Zone, food trucks and a full bar.
Mini Fest Milwaukee at Zócalo Food Truck Park takes place on Sunday, June 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with hands-on workshops, small business vendors and live entertainment.
Friday Night Flick in Lake Park features an outdoor movie, "Twister," on Friday from 7:30 - 9 p.m.
Waterford Balloon Fest is scheduled for Saturday from sunrise to sunset at Waterford Town Park, offering hot air balloons, live music and other fun activities.
Rock Climbing for Beginners will be held at the Urban Ecology Center on Saturday from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m., providing an open-air climbing experience for ages 6 and older.
