MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee area is set for a weekend filled with family-oriented activities for the first weekend in the new month. Joe Krauss from B93.3 joined us Friday, Nov. 3 to preview some of what is ahead.
The lineup includes Family Free Day at the Zoo on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Milwaukee County Zoo where visitors can enjoy free admission and the chance to see new additions to the zoo family, including two pygmy slow lorises.
On Friday evening, Community Family Night at the YMCA on Green Bay Rd. offers an opportunity for families to indulge in sports and dance, with the event kicking off at 5 p.m. and running until 8 p.m.
Family Day at Up-Down Milwaukee on Sunday will also take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families can partake in classic video games and a mix of kid-friendly food options and beverages suitable for adults.
