MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The area is preparing for a weekend of events worth checking out, including Veterans Day celebrations and family activities. Joe Krauss from B93.3 joined us on Friday, Nov. 8 to discuss what’s ahead.
Veterans and active-duty military receive free admission to the Harley-Davidson Museum on Saturday, Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 10, along with one adult guest and up to four children. On Monday, they receive a complimentary meal at MOTOR Bar & Restaurant and a 10% discount at the Harley-Davidson Shop.
The Magical Meet-N-Greet Family Fun Day is Sunday at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Children ages 2-6 can meet animated characters and create crafts.
The Kids Impact Community Birthday Party is tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elite Sports Club – River Glen, featuring family activities, raffles and entertainment.
This is the last weekend for the Christmas Fantasy House, a holiday fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House.
The Wisconsin Veterans Day Parade steps off from Phillips and Wisconsin avenues at 11 a.m. Sunday, proceeding east on Wisconsin Ave. and ending at Water and Juneau.
