BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Every year, Dixon Elementary in Brookfield hosts the "Gallery Night & Empty Bowls" fundraiser, raising money for the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
Students and staff decorate a bowl, each representing a person facing food insecurity in our community.
The kids got to take their artwork home, while the staff bowls were auctioned off for the fundraiser.
Fostering creativity, while helping those in need, is one good thing.
