APPLETON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Tonight's One Good Thing is a summer rodeo.
Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson traveled to Appleton on Thursday, Aug. 15 to participate in the 34th Annual Snowplow Rodeo. The event included training sessions and various challenges for participants.
Before the official activities began, Mayor Johnson and Department of Public Works Commissioner Jerrel Kruschke competed in a snowplow obstacle course.
Mayor Johnson hit several cones during the challenge. He said, "Absolutely leave it to the professionals. I am totally not qualified to do that job."
Despite the lighthearted competition, getting ready for the upcoming Wisconsin winter while adding an element of fun is One Good Thing.
