Celebration sendoff held for Tosa East girls' basketball team headed to WIAA Tournament

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A crowd of cheering students tossed confetti outside Wauwatosa East High School on Thursday, March 7, as vans carrying their girls' basketball team left for Green Bay. 

The Tosa East girls will play in the WIAA Tournament Friday afternoon. 

Similar scenes are playing out all over the state in our area, Pewaukee, Hartland Arrowhead, Hartford, Franklin, Kettle Moraine Lutheran and the Prairie School in Racine County are all sending girls' teams to state.
