Charlie Berens asks Packers fans to help Hurricane Ida victims
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Comedian Charlie Berens, the man behind Manitowoc Minute, is asking Green Bay Packers fans to help Hurricane Ida victims.
This week, Berens is donating all the proceeds from the sale of his "Go Packers" shirt to the United Way of Southeast Louisiana. This shirt's message taunts the Chicago Bears by saying "Go Packers and (Expletive) Da Bears". The shirt is $30 and can be purchased here.
"Now New Orleans has obviously had a ton of bad stuffing going on with Hurricane Ida recently and they need all our help," Berens said.
Berens has other fundraising opportunities for Hurricane Ida victims. He will also auction off his Packers cooler, which was given to him by the team. The cooler will be filled with goodies.
