MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Kompali Taqueria is known for its tortas and wide variety of tacos influenced from all over Mexico.
"We have family recipes, we have influences from all over Mexico -- we got Jalisco influences, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Mexico City," said Pita Roque, manager at Kompali Taqueria.
Kompali has locations at 3rd Street Market Hall, American Family Field and a full bar and restaurant on Brady Street. They have a variety of 37 tacos from barbacoa to blackened shrimp, carne asada and pollo.
Kompali's Brady Street location is not usually open on Mondays, but they will open the doors this May 5 for a Cinco de Mayo celebration.
"$7 palomas, $7 margaritas, $3-dollar Cazadores shots, happy hour 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. We have great appetizers and cocktails which are all $6 from 3 to 6," said Roque.
The Kitchen closes at 9 p.m. on Cinco de Mayo.
