Chicago man to spend 30 years in prison for Milwaukee murder

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Chicago man found guilty of felony murder in Milwaukee learned his fate on Thursday, Jan. 23. 

Correnthis Neal was convicted in connection with a deadly shooting that took place in May of 2024, near a Milwaukee Taco Bell located at 57th and North. 

Investigators say Neal, along with three other individuals, were part of a crew who would come to Milwaukee in order to steal high-end SUVs. 

Neal was found guilty of felony murder, sell/possess/use/transport machine guns, and attempted carjacking. 

Neal was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
