MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is temporarily restricting visitors to limit flu exposure at both their Milwaukee and Fox Valley hospitals.
Starting Thursday, February 8, 2018, no person under the age of 12 will be allowed in any inpatient care area. The policy does NOT include clinic appointments.
The hospital says the restriction will be lifted as soon as possible and will be assessed on a regular basis as new information about the flu season becomes available.
Children's Hospital is also reminding families to be sure to wash your hands regularly and thoroughly and say if you or your child is showing any symptoms to stay home.
