Chilly Election Day, then wintry mix and showers return
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Smiles and holiday cheer were delivered to Children's Hospital on Wednesday.
For seven years now, the staff at Children's Hospital puts on a Winter Carnival for its young patients and their families.
The festivities included little-automated reindeer games and therapy dogs doing their best Rudolph impersonations.
Some of the most beloved characters from children's stories appeared to spread some cheer to nobody more deserving than a child who is too sick to go home.
"Today is put treatment and illness aside and today I'm just a kid," said Eileen Clark.
