After a wet 1-4" of snow on Friday we stayed gloomy the rest of the weekend. It's been very difficult to come by sunshine the last week and it hasn't just been mostly cloudy with patchy blue sky, it's been completely overcast. The last seven straight days have seen completely cloudy skies and only 11 days into December we've already had eight cloudy days. The last time we had some good sunshine was last Sunday, December 4!
There is some good news with our sunrise and sunset times. The sunset on Monday will be at 4:16 PM and on Tuesday the sunset gets a touch later at 4:17 PM. We still lose daylight until December 21 as the sunrise gets later but seeing a touch later sunset is a sign of better days to come!
Once again don't expect much sunshine this week. We stay mostly cloudy on Monday then a big and long-lasting storm system will arrive by Tuesday evening with clouds lasting through the weekend. No sunny days in the current forecast.
