SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It’s been two days since a man was shot and killed in Sheboygan Falls and community members say they’re still searching for answers.

Sheboygan Falls police have not released many details about the investigation, just that the suspected shooter was driving a small, dark colored SUV.

“There’s a lot of vehicles driving around. We have no idea who we’re looking for,” said Naomi Borgenhheen, a Sheboygan Falls resident.

It’s a quiet afternoon in Sheboygan Falls, just two days after a drive-by shooting took this community by shock.

“A little unbelief that something like that could happen, but it’s the times we’re living in now,” said Gary Karpinsky of Sheboygan Falls.

On Wednesday, Sept. 24, Sheboygan Falls police were called near Monroe and Broadway Street shortly after midnight after a man was shot.

The victim, identified as 32-year-old Giovanni “Mike” Robinson, died at the scene.

“The worst phone call I’ve never had. It brought me to my knees,” said his brother, Jacob Robinson.

Family members say Robinson, who was from Canada, was a new dad. His baby only five weeks old. He was visiting Wisconsin for a golf trip.

Just hours before he was killed, Robinson got his first hole in one on the course.

“Pretty nervous that we don’t know anything about who did it,” said Borgenhheen.

The only information investigators have released at this time is the suspect was driving a small, dark colored SUV.

“They’re doing an investigation, and they may not want to give out information that could hurt their investigation,” said Karpinsky.

Robinson’s brother says in just a week, their family was supposed to be celebrating their sister’s wedding.

“My sister’s wedding is gonna be now my brother’s funeral,” said Jacob Robinson. “He loved her so much and he loved his family."
