Country music star Trace Adkins closing out the 2023 Wisconsin State Fair

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- When it comes to country music hits that find their way onto pretty much any radio station on the air, one name stands out as an artist who consistently churns out hit songs: Trace Adkins.

Wisconsin State Fair officials announced on Monday, Feb. 6 that Adkins will be closing out the Wisconsin State Fair on Sunday, Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. His performance will be a bookend following 11 nights of performances on the State Fair Main Stage.

Fans should expect a hit-filled set list, as Atkins has had over 20 songs chart on the Billboard country charts, including three chart-toppers in "Ladies Love Country Boys," "You're Gonna Miss This" and "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing."

He is also a four-time Grammy nominee and has won twice at both the Academy of Country Music Awards and CMT Awards.

Tickets for the performance will be for sale starting Friday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. Tickets will vary in price from $36 to $46 each, with a ticket also including admission to the 2023 Wisconsin State Fair for the day of the show.
