Cousins Subs donates $1,000 to Victims of Milwaukee Violence

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Victims of Milwaukee Violence received a generous donation from Cousins Subs on Tuesday, Feb. 4. 

According to a news release, the mission of Victims of Milwaukee Violence is to provide informational resources – grief support, community support and after case management – and advocate for families whose loved ones were murdered in Milwaukee.

On Tuesday, Cousins Subs donated $1,000 to support Victims of Milwaukee Violence's Mental Health Program, which provides 1,500 educational resources to 150 underserved individuals living in the 53206 and 53208 ZIP codes in Milwaukee.

Since its founding in 1972, Cousins Subs has remained committed to making more than quality sub sandwiches; it makes a difference in the communities it proudly calls home. To date, the brand has donated more than $507,000 in hyperlocal grants to support organizations that address the vital community needs of youth education, health and wellness and hunger.
