MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An accident along I-94 Eastbound at Hawley Road is causing some traffic backups, particularly for those going to the Brewers game on Sun. March 29.

The accident happened shortly after 11:00 a.m., in the area close to American Family Field.

With the Milwaukee Brewers set to take on the White Sox at 1:10 p.m., Brewers officials are asking anyone going to the game to find an alternative route to avoid delays. 

The crash and backup comes amidst concerns over traffic during the season, after a major construction project began in the offseason, covering miles of I-94 and surrounding roads.

Officials say the incident cleared at around 12:15 p.m.
