10 injured in multi-vehicle crash on Highway 16 near Pewaukee

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Ten people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 16 near I-94 in Pewaukee Friday, Aug. 1. 

It happened around 8:09 a.m., according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), on Highway 16 eastbound near MP 190. 

Of the 10 injured, officials say four people were taken to area hospitals and six were treated and released at the scene. 

The extent of injuries is unknown at this time. 

Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating.
