CALEDONIA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Firefighters with the Caledonia Fire Department and other agencies helped put out a massive barn fire on Saturday, Jan. 11th.

Officials say it happened during the evening hours, near 6 Mile Road and Highway 38. According to the Caledonia Police Department, it was reported that a big truck was on fire inside the barn. The caller also reported hearing an explosion inside the barn.

Units arrived to find a well involved, approximately 6,000 square foot building on fire. The fire was impinging on another large building a few feet to the west. Crews attempted to protect the second building, but learned the fire had already breached the structure. The contents of the second building were various vehicles.
