Crews respond to Caledonia barn fire near 6 Mile and Highway 38

CALEDONIA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Firefighters with the Caledonia Fire Department and other agencies helped put out a massive barn fire on Sat. Jan. 11th.

Officials say it happened during the evening hours, near 6 Mile Road and Highway 38.

Officials say there was no injuries to civilians or firefighters.

Caledonia crews say they responded with two engines, two water tenders, and a ladder truck. 

And they were able to extinguish the fire with mutual aid from South Milwaukee, Racine, Oak Creek, the Town of Norway, and St. Francis. 

The Caledonia Fire Department says they are talking with property owners to assess damage totals.
