MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--I hope history doesn't repeat itself again. But we could run the risk of heavier rain and storms into Saturday night. Just like one week ago. But I'm hopeful the rainfall won't be nearly as steady and heavy. Perhaps an inch if not a bit more. Anything over two inches would aggravate the current river flooding situation. In fact, there's only one River Flood Warning. This is in Waukesha on the Fox River. It's expected to fall below flood stage into Sunday morning. Good news. There's also a Flood Watch until the middle of the week on the Fox River around New Munster in Kenosha County.
Once we get into the middle of the week, high pressure takes over for at least a few days. Look for lots of 70s and 80s. Humidity should be in check then as well.
One other piece of news. Saturday's sunrise was the last pre-6 AM sunrise we'll see until April 22nd, 250 days away.
