MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities responded to a small explosion at a home near 51st and Villard on Tuesday, April 1.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. When crews arrived, they saw one wall of the home leaning outward as a result of the explosion, and flames coming from the back of the house.
"Upon entering the house, we checked the inside of the structure multiple times. We found no occupants and there were no injuries, as well as no injuries to any firefighters at this time," said Deputy Chief Travis Jones.
Officials say they're still trying to figure out what caused the explosion.
