MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A late night bike ride turned into a homicide in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Now police want the people who were there that night to come forward.
On Oct. 9, 19-year-old Jamal Abdullahi and a friend were riding their bikes downtown when they stopped at Swing Park, near Water and Van Buren Streets, and started talking to people there.
Officials say there was an argument with suspects in a gray Kia sedan. As the suspects drove away, they started shooting.
Abdullahi was shot and killed.
"Why this case is important is there were multiple people that were observed at Swing Park at that time a lot of them didn't stay around to be interviewed, and we are looking for any additional witnesses that can help find the suspects in this incident," said Detective Jeremiah Jacks, with the Milwaukee Police Department.
If you know anything about the deadly shooting of Jamal Abdullhi, you're urged to call Milwaukee Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS. Your call is always anonymous. If your tip leads to an arrest you could get a cash reward.
