MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Graduation season is in full swing, and for a local high school, that means continuing an impressive streak of academic excellence.
For the eighth year in a row, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School had a perfect college acceptance rate.
Friends and family gathered to celebrate more than 100 students for their hard work over the last four years.
It's a truly remarkable milestone for these students, as many of them will be the first in their family to attend college.
"This class has worked really hard and they have achieved a lot, and I am just so happy for them as they cross the graduation stage, and I am excited for what they will do," said Andrew Stith, president of Cristo Rey High School.
Many of these students are choosing to stay close to home. A record-breaking 35 seniors are choosing to go to Marquette University in the fall.
