Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Not the prettiest nor the ugliest. This pretty much sums up Father's Day weekend. There will be plenty of dry hours but then rain showers and thunder too, starting today. I think our best chance of precip, widespread, will be later this evening into the overnight. Then we continue this theme on Saturday as a front drops down from the north. Some of the rain and storms could be on the stronger side, especially into Saturday night.
Showers will linger into Sunday morning. But Father's Day itself should be fairly dry. Highs will be in the 70s on Friday but then drop back into the 60s for the weekend. Winds from the southwest will be a factor on Friday with gusts around 40 mph but then calm down a bit during the weekend.
Next week looks fairly quiet at least to start the week. Although one reliable computer model has the risk of showers Monday and Tuesday. But there will be a better chance by midweek. The start of summer, by the way, is a week from today. Don't see any huge warmup anytime soon, but highs could be closer to 80 by the start of summer.
