Milwaukee County bus hits and kills man
It was a soggy start to our Friday as a line of rain and storms pushed across SE WI, dropping a solid .50-1" of rain in many locations.
We cannot catch a break from the rain right now. Through the first 35 days of meteorological summer (June 1st), 22 of those day have had rain.
This is a night and day difference from this time last year. Since May 1st, Milwaukee has picked up over a foot of rain. During the same time period last year, we barely had over 3" of rain! Normal rainfall during this stretch of time is eight and a half inches.
Unfortunately this active weather pattern will continue for several more days. Spotty showers and storms will pop up this afternoon, diminishing after sunset.
Saturday will be the best chance at a dry day for most, but we can't rule out an isolated shower popping along the lake breeze. Rounds of showers and storms are expected Sunday and Monday with pop up storms in the afternoon both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Temps will be fairly steady in the mid 70s to low 80s for the next week. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to keep track of the storms and to see the full 7 day forecast.
