Dan Knodl declared projected winner of 8th Senate District, AP says

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)-- Wisconsin Republicans will gain a two-thirds supermajority in the Senate after the Associated Press (AP) declared Republican Rep. Dan Knodl the projected winner of the 8th Senate District in the Special Election on Tuesday.

Knodl will replace former Sen. Alberta Darling, who retired last fall after serving 30 years in the Senate.

Knodl currently serves as Assembly District 24.
