David Alan Alan’s Smokehouse to open at Milwaukee Public Market

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Barbecue fans, a new option is on the way to Milwaukee and is headed for the Public Market.

David Alan Alan’s Smokehouse will join the Milwaukee Public Market this fall, replacing Pat’s Rib Place, which will close on Wednesday, July 31.

The new vendor, founded by Dave and Tina O’Bryan, aims to bring an authentic smokehouse experience, according to a Wednesday, July 24 press release, with a menu featuring BBQ favorites like slow-smoked brisket, tender ribs and savory pulled pork. They will also feature homemade sides, sauces and smoked cocktails, alongside gluten-free menu options.

Founders Dave and Tina O'Bryan already operate David Alan Alan's Smokehouse and Saloon in Mukwonago, making the Milwaukee Public Market location their second.

Pat’s Rib Place, operated by Alisha and Ty Hayes, will close to focus on expanding their retail line of BBQ sauces. Paul Schwartz, Executive Director of the Milwaukee Public Market, expressed excitement for the new addition and praised the contributions of Pat’s Rib Place.
