Disney on Ice returns to Fiserv Forum for magical, fun-filled weekend

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wonderful World of Disney is in Milwaukee this weekend!

Disney on Ice returns with "Into the Magic" bringing back some of your favorite characters and more stories to tell.

Go on an expedition across the water, into the mountains and onto the ice.

It's a chance for you and your family to see some of your favorite characters this weekend.

"Oh my gosh, Anna is such a fun character to play. She's so spunky. She has so much energy," skater Kaela Kapeikis said.

Catch scenes from the ever-popular Frozen, to the action-packed Moana.

"There's just so many wonderful elements. We have tamatoa. We have this disco ball that comes out," Disney on Ice performance director Marie Hanford said.

Props and costumes add an extra spark to the show.

And there's a trick that helps the skaters switch between scenes quicker.

"We don't take our skates off between our different changes so if you look at a costume like this, which is from our 'In Summer' from Frozen, you actually can see that there are zippers that go up and down the legs of the costumes so we can get in and out of them quickly," Kapeikis said.

The show goes through seven different scenes that also include beloved past favorites, like Rapunzel and Cinderella.

And of course, fans will get to see the main mouse behind it all.
