STURGEON BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Wisconsin candle business is donating proceeds to support flooding relief efforts in Texas through its Candles Creating Change initiative.

Door County Candle Company in Sturgeon Bay is selling a special vanilla-scented candle with 100 percent of profits going to flood relief. The company owner said the effort reflects the business’s ongoing commitment to help communities impacted by disasters.

"It means a lot that we can be a way to create change, to help those impacted by such tragic disasters so, I’m very grateful for the community we built," owner Christina Trapani said.
