’Dream come true’: Racine clothing designer’s collaboration with Milwaukee Bucks to drop Friday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Racine clothing designer is scoring a major win this week as he launches a collaboration with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Estevan Longoria created his clothing company, Lost Files, a few years ago after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Since then, he's worked on making what he describes as "Midwest streetwear."

But last December, Longoria received a notification in his LinkedIn inbox he didn't expect.

"I think I was jumping around and screaming in my house, so that was one of the best messages I've received that year," Longoria told CBS 58's Ellie Nakamoto-White.

That message was from the Milwaukee Bucks -- his all-time favorite basketball team -- offering Longoria the chance to create four pieces.

It took several drafts and revisions, but 12 months later, he's designed a hat, T-shirt, sweater, and hoodie featuring the iconic cream and gold colors.

"I really love how it turned out and I think it incorporates the Bucks while incorporating our branding, and it's a perfect mesh of both," Longoria said. "I remember talking with my younger brother years ago, when we first started Lost Files, and we talked about what is the biggest collaboration we could get? And the Bucks was the obvious answer, because we're such big Bucks fans. So, to see that come full-circle six years later is awesome."

The collection will be available at the Bucks Pro Shop store Friday, Dec. 5, until it's sold out. Pieces range from size small to 3X.
