Dry weather returns for a few days

We didn't pick up as much rain as expected over the last three days, but any rain helps at this point.

Milwaukee is over a half inch of rain for the month, but we're still running two and a half inches below normal for the fall season.

There is a bit of lingering drizzle in southeast Wisconsin this morning, but that will come to an end this afternoon as drier air pushes in. This should break up the clouds this evening and overnight.

High pressure will bring dry weather and sunshine back to the region Thursday and Friday with highs temps slightly above normal in the mid to upper 50s.

The next rain maker isn't far away, and unfortunately it will arrive this weekend. Showers roll in late Saturday and continue into Sunday.
