Drying out for a few days after another round of benifical rainfall
Another good, soaking rain fell across southeast Wisconsin over the last 24 hours with the far SE corner of the state picking up .75-1" of rain.
Areas northwest of Milwaukee didn't pick up as much but still received a solid .25-.50" of rain.
Through the first two weeks of November, Milwaukee's picked up more rain than all of October and have nearly matched September's rain total.
We will dry out for the next few days, but the clouds will be pretty stubborn. A few breaks in the clouds are expected later Friday afternoon into Friday night, but we likely won't clear out completely. If we do, it'll be short lived as more clouds return Saturday ahead of a low pressure system and cold front.
This will bring an increase in wind for the weekend with a few sprinkles or isolated shower possible late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
A second, slower moving low pressure system will impact the Great Lakes region next Tuesday-Thursday, and it may bring a little wintry mix to the state. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App for the full 7 day forecast.
