Kansasville Fire & Rescue Department KANSASVILLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Kansasville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a dump truck rollover near the Town of Dover earlier today, Sept. 15.
Law enforcement dispatched to the intersection of Sunnyside Dr. and Minnetonka Dr. where a dump truck was on its side and the driver was trapped.
According to personnel, the truck of traveling northbound and failed to navigate the curve near Minnetonka Dr. and rolled over, spilling its load of gravel along the roadway and coming to a rest on its driver's side - blocking the southbound lane of Sunnyside Dr.
Deputies were able to gain access and free the driver from the wreckage, and the driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
The Racine County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
