Former Bradley Tech High School safety officer accused of sending inappropriate texts to student

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A former Bradley Tech High School safety officer has been charged, accused of sending inappropriate text messages to a student.
The accused is 30-year-old Samara Miller.
According to a criminal complaint, Miller reportedly texted a 17-year-old student about buying him things, inviting him over to her house, and other inappropriate messages.
Miller was arrested on Sept. 9 and when questioned, she admitted to texting the student. Officials say Miller wrote a letter of apology.
Milwaukee Public Schools told CBS 58 that Miller hasn't been an employee since February 2025.
Miller is facing one count of sexual misconduct by school staff or volunteer.
In court, a judge set Miller's bond at $8,000.
She's due in court for a preliminary hearing Oct. 3.
