MONDOVI, Wis. -- A group of fifth graders in Buffalo County are working together to help buy a wheelchair for their classmate.
Bella Tiegs, a student at Mondovi Elementary School, has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair every day. Her classmates are hoping to buy Tiegs a new wheelchair that will give her more mobility.
“It means we get to help out friend and we know how much she wants that wheelchair,” a classmate said. “We’re giving Bella something so she can have fun just like all of us.”
Tieg’s father said he doesn’t know how he’ll be able to thank everyone for their generosity.
