Emergency plane landing in Dodge County, no injuries reported

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office received numerous reports of a plane flying low and sounded like it was having engine issues on Saturday, July 28.

A short time later, it was reported the plane had landed in the field, according to the sheriff's office.

They responded to the area near Raasch Hill and County Highway TW in the town of Hubbard and located two airplanes in a farm field.

The sheriff's office says the pilot was identified as a 28-year-old from Georgia. He confirmed with law enforcement that he was losing power to his single engine aircraft. He was unable to make it to the airport, so had an emergency landing in the farm field, according to authorities.

The second airplane on scene was traveling with the disabled plane and landed in the field to check on the pilot.

No injuries were reported. The incident is under investigation.
