MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- 'Faith in Us' is a National Clergy Network, and members gathered in Milwaukee today, calling on voter rights protection.
Speakers at the Vel R. Phillips Plaza voiced their concerns over the current state of our election systems, and voter eligibility rights.
Darryl Morin from Forward Latino was one of the speakers and was called on to sign a pledge which would further protect voter rights.
"This is a non-partisan issue, said Morin. "This is a pro American issue. This is a U.S. constitution issue, so we are asking everybody to do what's right. Don't play by either team unless it's the America team and protect the right of everyone to lawfully vote."
The 'Faith in Us' network spreads across 40 states, reaching nearly 1,000 communities across the country.
