MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tonight, family and friends honored the life of 59-year-old Jeanette Jimenez.
Jimenez was shot and killed last Thursday near 15th and Becher.
Milwaukee police are investigating the homicide, but no suspect has been found.
Balloons were released near where she was killed.
Dozens showed up to mourn the loss of Jimenez.
Her family says they are heartbroken.
They are asking for whoever did this to turn themselves in.
"We are asking for peace and pray that this young man turns himself in to police so we can have closure," said Wanda Amezcua, Jeanette's sister.
Jeanette's sister Wanda Amezcua says her sister was incredibly caring and that she will be missed by many.
