27-year-old motorcyclist dead after crashing into pole on Lincoln Memorial Drive

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 27-year-old motorcyclist is dead after crashing on Lincoln Memorial Drive on Sunday, October 7. 

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, it happened just before 5:30 p.m. 

Officials say the 27-year-old man was driving a motorcycle when he lost control and struck a pole.

The man died on the scene from his injuries.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that happened near McKinley Marina late Sunday afternoon, October 6.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. in the area of North Lincoln Memorial and East Lagoon Drives.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiners Office confirms they were called to the scene and that there was one fatality.
