Fatal overnight crash near 33rd and Capitol

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating the cause of a fatal car crash in near 33rd and Capitol overnight.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's office confirmed they were called out to the scene at about 1:30 Thursday morning.
An SUV could be seen resting in the median as police and emergency crews cleared the scene.
Traffic was still being detoured at the intersection at 5:30 a.m.
Officials say there was one fatality and there is no word on other occupants or injuries.
