MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The FBI executed several search and arrest warrants across Milwaukee's north side Tuesday morning, Feb. 25.

Near 39th and Burleigh, a witness told CBS 58 he woke up and saw a large SWAT vehicle and several agents yelling "search warrant" before they busted the door open and went inside.

"Just to look outside, plenty big guys with plenty of big guns," said the witness.

Our CBS 58 crew saw agents going in and out of the home for hours and one agent could be seen bringing a couple of boxes inside.

The owner of the duplex's son said, the tenant has lived there for about three months and has a criminal record.

Over at the jazz club Levels, at 7th and North, FBI agents walked around searching with canines.

The terrorist FBI task force was also on scene searching the property.

A parent who witnessed the raids said it's concerning that something like this happened right next door to him.

"It's just crazy because there are a lot of kids in this neighborhood and you don’t know about the drug activity, the guns, the violence or nothing so. Just hopefully it’s a good thing nobody was hurt," said Dequan Rodgers.

The U.S. District Attorney's Office will give more details about the raids at a news conference set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26.
