February is off to a quiet start. Snow chances increase this week.

This winter has been a dud if you are a snow lover.  Right now, Milwaukee is over a foot below normal for the season.  February has been no different.  A week into the month and Milwaukee is 2 inches below normal.

The pattern does change as we go through the next 7 days.  A chance for a mix or even some wet flakes is possible for Wednesday.  No real accumulation is expected with surface temperatures in the upper 30s to near 40.

Another clipper drops in for Thursday night into Friday morning.  The models have been faster with that next chance for snow.  A few inches is possible before it melts on Friday.  Friday's high goes back near 40.

The third chance for snow will arrive on Sunday as another system drops in from the northwest.
