MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There is fun on the calendar in the Milwaukee area this weekend, including a hockey game that could cure your fever, a craft market and free admission at the zoo. Melissa Jordan of B93.3 FM offered a preview when she joined us on Friday, Feb. 28.
The Milwaukee Admirals will take the ice as the Milwaukee Cowbells on Friday at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. The team will wear special jerseys inspired by the 25th anniversary of the "More Cowbell" sketch from Saturday Night Live. The first 6,000 fans will receive a commemorative cowbell.
The Milwaukee County Zoo will offer free admission on Saturday, March 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Parking and attraction fees still apply.
The Milwaukee Auto Show concludes its run at the Baird Center this weekend. A mascot parade featuring Bernie Brewer, the racing sausages and Bucky Badger will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
MKE Destash, an annual craft market featuring discounted handmade goods, will be held Sunday, March 2 at the Bavarian Bierhaus in Glendale. Children can participate in free make-and-take craft activities.
