Some communities in southeast Wisconsin saw a few sprinkles early Friday morning, now most of the area is dry, but more showers are approaching for Friday afternoon and evening. The showers will form along a line and front so the rain will be fairly quick in and quick out in any given community and won't last long. But, the showers could come in the form of downpours where a quick 0.25" of rain falls in an hour or so.
Temperatures Friday remain above average with highs in the upper 60s, but the warmth really returns for the weekend with highs in the 70s. Milwaukee might fall short of 80 degrees now for Saturday but upper 70s look very attainable. Sunday has dropped closer to 70 but Monday has shown some signs it could be warmer. Another round of cooler 60s returns next week.
The weekend also looks to remain fairly dry and sunny. The one hiccup could be the remnants of Hurricane Isaias which could bring a few clouds, or even a sprinkle, into our area Saturday into Sunday.
The weekend could also feature a little humidity for the first time in almost a month. Dew points by Saturday and Sunday will reach the upper 50s and close to 60 pushing the muggy meter close to the noticeable category.
