WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person was seriously hurt in a crash on I-94 in Waukesha County Friday morning, Aug. 23. 

Video from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) captured a Flight for Life helicopter landing in the westbound lanes at about 8:30 a.m.

The Brookfield Fire Department says a 44-year-old man lost control near Highway JJ and left the road and hit a retaining wall. 

All lanes in both directions were closed as crews cleaned up debris. 

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Wisconsin State Patrol, Town of Brookfield Police Department, City of Brookfield Police Department, and City of Brookfield Fire Department.
