Bobby is back! Bucks forward eligible for play after 25-game suspension

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There may be some chanting done at Fiserv Forum tonight because Bobby Portis is eligible to return to the basketball court. The veteran forward and crowd favorite has finished serving his NBA suspension and the Bucks are playing a home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves Tuesday, April 8.
The suspension was handed down after Portis took a painkiller that violated the NBA's anti-drug program. Portis says he was angry when the suspension came down; it cost him almost 1/3 of the season and nearly $3 million -- but Portis says there's always some good that comes out of tough times.
With Portis officially off the injury report and expected to play, he'll be thrown into the fire immediately with the Timberwolves in town.
Minnesota made the Western Conference Finals last year and features explosive bigs Julius Randle, Naz Reid and four-time defensive player of the year Rudy Gobert -- a perfect time for Portis to be back.
"Really excited to have him back. I think that he is a huge part of our identity, our mood and feeling out there on the court," said Kyle Kuzma, Bucks forward. "I think that he is somebody that has just a certain amount of aura to him. Tenacity that can ignite a group."
