FLORIDA (CBS 58) -- A young man from Florida is honoring the nation's fallen heroes.
We introduced you to Zechariah Cartledge in May.
The 10-year-old has pledged to run a mile for every officer killed in the U.S.
He just ran for Officer Hetland and now plans to run for Officer Her.
"I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be running for all of the off-duty officers in a two mile run later in the year," Zechariah said. "So later in the year I'll be running for him in a two mile run."
Zechariah started running in 2018, when he learned how many officers died in the line of duty.
He's run 154 miles so far.
